ALA 2022 Was a Success!
It sure was fun to see our friends at the America Library Association’s 2022 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Washington, D.C. last week! I visited with the Map & Geospatial Information Round Table (MAGIRT) gang and Cindy checked in with the Reference & User’s Association (RUSA) History section.
We also met a lot of new folks at our booth in the exhibit hall as we debuted our next-gen research platform, HistoryMosaic.
The well-attended conference helped us make new connections with nearly 200 librarians who are eager to explore our nationwide collection of historical aerial photographs, topographic maps, fire insurance maps, real estate atlases and street address directories by scheduling an online HistoryMosaic demonstration. Many of these upcoming demonstration sessions will lead to free trials.
We really look forward to hearing feedback on HistoryMosaic, so we can continue to improve it for the best possible user experience.
Many of our new library contacts, as well as our existing subscribing library customers, expressed interest in partnering with Historical Information Gatherers (HIG) to digitize their collections so they can be added to the HistoryMosaic research platform.
Thank you to all of you who visited our booth, you will be hearing from us very soon!
